Microsoft and OpenAI might renegotiate their partnership 👀 

Microsoft and OpenAI are reportedly in high-stakes negotiations to redefine their partnership, particularly regarding Microsoft’s equity stake in OpenAI’s for-profit entity 💸 

Microsoft has invested over $13 billion in OpenAI, but may reduce its stake in exchange for long-term access to OpenAI’s future AI models beyond the 2030 cutoff.

This renegotiation follows OpenAI’s recent corporate restructuring, where it aims to become a public benefit corporation while keeping its nonprofit board in control. The discussions are further complicated by growing competition between the two companies, as OpenAI expands its enterprise AI offerings and pursues its ambitious Stargate infrastructure project 📈 

Apple working on a ‘mostly glass, curved iPhone’? 📱 

Apple is reportedly working on a radically redesigned iPhone for 2027, marking the 20th anniversary of the device. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the company plans a “mostly glass, curved iPhone” with no display cutouts, possibly featuring an under-display front camera for a true edge-to-edge screen. This follows reports that Apple has been developing bezel-less designs with its display partners 📱 

Beyond the iPhone, Apple is expected to launch its first foldable iPhone, smart glasses, and camera-equipped AirPods and Apple Watches in 2027 📆 

Gurman also hints at an AI-powered home robot with a personality-driven assistant. Additionally, Apple may introduce a large language model-powered Siri, supported by custom AI chips. If these predictions hold, 2027 could be a transformative year for Apple’s product lineup 📈 

ChatGPT Deep Research now connects to GitHub Repos 🧑‍💻 

OpenAI has introduced a GitHub connector for ChatGPT’s Deep Research tool, allowing users to search codebases, scan pull requests, and generate citation-backed reports directly within ChatGPT. This integration enhances developer workflows, making it easier to analyze repositories and extract insights efficiently ✅ 

Currently, the feature is available to ChatGPT Plus, Pro, and Team users, with Enterprise and Education support expected soon. OpenAI emphasizes that the tool respects GitHub permissions, ensuring users can only access repositories they are authorized to view.

This move aligns with OpenAI’s broader strategy to expand AI-powered research capabilities, making ChatGPT more useful for technical users.

Microsoft launches Copilot Pages 📃 

Microsoft has launched Pages, a new Copilot feature designed for collaborative AI-assisted content creation. Pages functions as an interactive canvas, allowing users to edit, refine, and organize AI-generated responses in real time.

Unlike traditional chat interactions, this feature enables persistent content storage, meaning users can revisit and modify their work later.

Pages is available across desktop and mobile platforms, offering multiplayer collaboration, where multiple users can contribute simultaneously. It also provides advanced formatting tools, such as text styling, collapsible headlines, and callouts, making it more versatile than similar features in competing AI models ✅
