ChatGPT gets more personalization for free users 🤖 

OpenAI is rolling out memory improvements for free ChatGPT users, allowing the AI to recall details from recent conversations and provide more personalized responses. Previously, this feature was exclusive to paid subscribers, but now free users will experience short-term memory continuity across chats.

ChatGPT can remember preferences, writing styles, and past instructions, making interactions feel more consistent and tailored. Users can manage memory settings, disable or delete stored memories, and even use Temporary Chat for private conversations.

The rollout is global, but users in the EU, UK, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein must manually enable the feature. OpenAI emphasizes that users remain in control of their data and can ask ChatGPT, “What do you remember about me?”.

Google Drive launches “Catch me up” AI summaries ✍️ 

Google Drive is introducing “Catch me up”, an AI-powered feature that summarizes recent changes to your stored files using Gemini AI. This tool helps users stay updated on edits in Google Docs and comments in Docs, Sheets, and Slides 📃 

The feature appears as a shortcut in Drive, offering either a high-level summary across all files or an overview of changes in a specific document. Users can access it via the Gemini side panel, which generates bullet-point summaries ✅ 

Rolling out over the next few weeks, Catch me up is available for Google Workspace and Google One AI Premium subscribers. However, Google warns that Gemini may display inaccurate information, urging users to verify details.

Bing lets you use OpenAI’s Sora video generator for free ✅ 

Microsoft has integrated OpenAI’s Sora video generator into Bing Video Creator, allowing users to create AI-generated videos for free. Previously, Sora was locked behind ChatGPT Plus subscriptions starting at $20 per month, but now Bing users can access it without a paid plan 💲 

The feature is rolling out globally (excluding China and Russia) on the Bing mobile app, with desktop support coming soon. Users can generate five-second vertical videos using text prompts and queue up to three video generations at a time. Microsoft offers 10 free “Fast” generations, after which users can redeem 100 Microsoft Rewards points per video ✅ 

This move makes AI-powered video creation more accessible, competing with tools like Google’s Veo 3. 🚀
